Great value for money and enhances performance . The fit is exactly to size and very comfortable - no need to wear in!
The upper knit is really good. The shoes is snug but comfortable. True to size. Support and cushion is great. The outsole grip is amazing. Overall the Curry 8 is a great pair of basketball shoes.
Great concept with foam flexible bottoms; and they are light and comfortable. However, the there is a design/quality flaw with the center design of the sole...Part of the foam/sole is come apart after about 10 games played in a professional grade indoor gym. In my opinion, the manufacturing quality process and overall sole/bottom area should be covered 100% foam on the bottom for durability and better traction (no need for a AU black logo open space that has no foam)--I really like the concept of this shoe, so hopefully the next General can be improved and released soon. Best!
Purchased 2 pairs in April and May and within 4 months both pairs, bottoms are ripped off . The foam loiks cheaply made.
These shoes are too narrow, I don’t have wide feet/never have needed to buy a wide shoe but these are way too tight. I’ve been wearing the same size (9.5 M) for years now, and I’m not sure if I needed to get a bigger size because these ran small? But I wore these once for a hooping session and my feet hurt so bad. I had blisters for a couple days after.
I really wanted to like this shoe. Everything about this shoe is 5 stars, Traction, style, and cushion, except for 2 things and it all fails in the toe box:
1. The toe box area is WIDE and short but the arch is narrow. Causing excess fabric to bunch up when lacing and feeling loose.
2. There's no cushion on the toe area, it almost feels hard, that when I stopped quick both toe nails turned blue from constantly hitting them. Pain for days.
The product is very light and has a great performance, and the shoe is very detailed,I feel good on the court especially doing the curry slide or step backs and really just running down the court feels pretty good too
I mostly buy running shoes from Under Armour and own several pairs. I don't do a lot of running, I just want a comfortable shoe to walk around in all day and workout with. I bought these shoes because they look great and had solid reviews. I am very happy I did because these are the most comfortable shoes I have now, they fit perfect and are true to size. By far my favorite pair of shoes! Thanks Under Armour for an amazing shoe!
The Curry 8 is a marvel of innovation in athletic footwear. From the breathable, flexible feathery light-weight upper to the near-reflexive responsiveness of the outsole these shoes let me be faster, quicker, more agile, more mobile...and the fit...amazing; The insole and sockliner hug my foot from heel to toe, instep to ankle. The cushioning around back of my ankles at the achilles makes my feet feel comfortable and secure. The rubberless "flow" material is clearly "space age" tech from the future, it's like...moonwalking...on the moon. The Curry 8 is next level when it comes to traction, which is critical for speed, stability, quick change of direction and lateral movement. The outsole's wide-based heel and front step must have been designed to absorb and disperse energy from foot to floor very efficiently. All in all, this is the most comfortable, best performing basketball shoe I've ever worn.
The shoe fits well, true to size, comfy and moves well with tou.
